This Privacy Policy explains how Dsize (“Dsize”, “we”,
“us”, “our”)
collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website (dsize.me) and our
services, including any Dsize
mobile applications and related features that measure body dimensions using a device camera and AI/computer
vision.
1) What we do (service overview)
Dsize provides AI-powered body measurement technology that can convert camera scans into body measurement data to help with use cases such as fashion/e-commerce sizing and fitness tracking. We may process body scans to generate measurements and related outputs.
2) Information we collect
A. Information you provide
- Contact information (such as name, email, and message content) when you contact us or submit a form on our website.
- Account/profile information if you create an account in a Dsize app (where available), such as name, email, and preferences.
- Support communications (requests, feedback, and attachments) if you contact customer support.
B. Body measurement inputs
- Camera-based scan data (for example, images/video frames or similar sensor-derived inputs) that you choose to capture or upload so we can generate measurement outputs.
- Measurement outputs generated from scan data (for example, circumferences, lengths, size recommendations, and derived body metrics).
C. Automatically collected information
- Device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, and unique identifiers where available).
- Usage and diagnostics (feature usage, crash logs, performance metrics, and basic event data).
- Approximate location may be inferred from IP address when using the website (not precise GPS unless you explicitly enable it).
D. Cookies and similar technologies (website)
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to operate, improve performance, remember preferences, and understand website usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some cookies may be necessary for the website to function.
3) How we use information
- Provide and operate the service (including generating body measurement outputs from scans).
- Improve accuracy and reliability of measurements and the user experience (including troubleshooting and analytics).
- Provide customer support, respond to inquiries, and send service-related messages.
- Security and fraud prevention, including detecting misuse and protecting accounts and systems.
- Legal compliance and enforcing our terms.
4) Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on where you live, we rely on one or more legal bases to process information, such as: (a) performance of a contract (providing the service), (b) your consent (for example, camera access and scan processing), (c) legitimate interests (service improvement, security), and/or (d) legal obligations.
5) App permissions
Our mobile apps may request the following permissions depending on the features you use:
- Camera: to capture scans for measurement generation.
- Photos/Media/Files (optional): to upload scan images/videos you select or to save/export results where supported.
- Network access: to communicate with our servers for features that require online processing, syncing, or support.
You can typically change permissions in your device settings. If you disable certain permissions, some features may not work.
6) How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:
- Service providers: trusted vendors who help us run the service (hosting, analytics, customer support tools, security monitoring). They are permitted to process information only for our instructions and where needed to provide services to us.
- Business partners (optional integrations): if you use a Dsize integration embedded in a partner’s app/site (for example, a retailer), information may be shared as needed to provide sizing/measurement results within that partner experience. The partner’s own privacy policy may also apply.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, enforce our terms, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (with appropriate protections).
7) Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention depends on the type of data and how it is used (for example, support records, account data, and measurement data).
- Contact/support data: retained to respond and for record-keeping and quality purposes.
- Measurement data: retained as needed to provide the service (for example, saving your results if you choose to keep them), and deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.
- Logs and diagnostics: retained for security, debugging, and performance improvements.
8) Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, such as encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9) International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
10) Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection or restriction of processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Access / update: you may update certain information via the app (if available) or by contacting us.
- Delete: you may request deletion of your account and/or certain data, subject to legal and operational requirements.
- Opt out: you can opt out of non-essential marketing communications (if any) using unsubscribe links or by contacting us.
To exercise rights, contact us at: info@dsize.com.
11) Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
12) Third-party links and services
Our website or apps may link to third-party sites or services (for example, social media pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Please review their policies.
13) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and may provide additional notice in the app or on the website when changes are material.
14) Contact us
If you have questions, requests, or complaints about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, contact:
- Email: info@dsize.com

Notes for store compliance: This policy is written to be suitable for Apple App Store and Google Play requirements by clearly describing what data is collected (including camera/scan data), why it is collected, how it may be shared, retention, security, and user rights. If your implementation has specific SDKs (e.g., Firebase, analytics providers), or if scans are processed only on-device vs. on servers, you should update Section 2B/6 accordingly to match the exact behavior.
